The TSB Bank Arena has a maximum seating capacity of 4430, and 5655 standing. There is a combination of fixed, loose floor and retractable seating offering multiple configuration setups.
The Arena has 2186sqm of flat floor space for exhibitions and concerts. The custom designed sports floor is marked for three basketball or netball courts with an international-standard centre court for larger sporting events - making this venue flexible for numerous types of events.
Dimensions & Services
- Main Hall Area is 2186sqm with 55.7 (L) x 39.25 (W) x 12.00m clearance to U/S roof trusses.
- Power, Telecom and PA outlet provisions are located in recessed floor traps uniformly distributed around the main hall.
- There are four trusses at the south end of the venue which have been designed to support a load of 10 tonne each over and above the weight of the permanent stucture.
- Catwalks have been positioned over the standard stage position to provide easy access for riggers to hang the necessary production systems and roof hanging points are uniformly positioned throughout the main hall area.
- Two main stage positions have been created for centre stage and end stage locations. Staging system is available maximum length of 9.6m x 16.8m (made up of 244cm x 244cm units). The height of the stage is adjustable from 81 cm to 152 cm.
- The weight/load bearing for displays on the main floor level is 500kg/sqm
- The loading bay service area has a 6.50m wide ramp access to the Main Hall, and two major store rooms - allowing vehicular access.
- This venue has the capacity to accommodate a wide range of technical presentations (with built-in cabling access for the facilitation of external television broadcasting).
- Wireless internet connections are available through CafeNET or Telecom wireless hotspots.
In addition to venue rental, there will be charges for food and beverage requirements, technical and production services and labour (e.g. security and front-of-house staff). A detailed estimate of costs can be prepared when the requirements of the event are known.
Food & Beverage
The TSB Bank Arena works with two caters ensuring a high standard of cuisine to suit all budgets and tastes. Only these two caterers can provide food and beverage services within this venue. Those two caterers are Restaurant Associates and Ruth Pretty.
